Growing Up in Australia: The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children

Dr Jessica Walton joined AIFS in November 2022 and is currently the Project Manager for Growing Up in Australia: The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children. Jessica is a social researcher with a background in sociology and anthropology. She has extensive experience managing large scale projects conducting ethnographic, qualitative and mixed methods research and evaluation relating to children and young people on topics including racism, transnational adoption, migration, and intercultural education. Previously, she has also conducted research with young people with chronic health conditions to understand their experiences transitioning from paediatric to adult health care.
