The Annie E. Casey Foundation (USA) - Helping vulnerable kids and families succeed
The Knowledge Center aims to provide advocates, policymakers, practitioners, the media, researchers, and community members with a range of Foundation resources. These resources capture the experience and learning of the Foundation which aims to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, youth, families, and communities in the USA. The Casey Foundation also provides direct services for children with the goal of demonstrating how high quality, cost-effective foster care and family and youth services can contribute to improved permanence, safety, and well-being for vulnerable children.

Australian Centre for Child Protection
The Australian Centre for Child Protection is a joint initiative of the Commonwealth Government (Department of Education, Science and Training) and the University of South Australia. Establishment of the Centre reflects increased community concern for the welfare of children, particularly those at risk of abuse or neglect. The Centre's impact will be leveraged through partnerships with stakeholders, through direct and indirect support for targeted research initiatives, and through facilitation of good practice in professional education. The Centre's impact is also realised through advocacy aimed at improvement in practice and contribution to policy in child protection.

Barnardos Australia
Barnardos is a non denominational, non government welfare organisation which aims to prevent and reverse the effects of abuse, neglect and homelessness on children and young people.

Brighter Futures - NSW Government
An early intervention program funded by the NSW Government that provides targeted support to vulnerable children and families. The Brighter Futures website provides a range of evidence-based resources for professionals who work with vulnerable children and families.

Child Abuse Prevention Service (CAPS)
Established in 1973, the Child Abuse Prevention Service (CAPS) is the oldest child abuse prevention organisation in Australia. We are a non-government, non-religious charity that works to prevent child maltreatment in all its forms, including emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
Our staff are experienced psychologists and child protection policy experts who are well-equipped to deliver frontline educational programs and create the environments needed to ensure that children are safe, supported, and loved.

Child Welfare Information Gateway (US)
A service provided by the US Department of Health and Human Services providing access to a range of resources and publications relating to the safety and wellbeing of children and families. Information on family-centered practice, preventing child abuse and neglect and supporting and preserving families.

Child Wise
Child Wise is Australia's leading international child protection charity committed to the prevention and reduction of sexual abuse and exploitation of children around the world. Child Wise's primary focus is to prevent abuse before it happens. Child Wise works in Australia, Asia and the Pacific delivering programs to prevent such abuses against children.

Children's Safety Australia
Our mission is to maximise the safety and enhance the wellbeing of children and young people and encourage them to reach their full potential. The organisation is based in Brisbane and was established in 2008 as a non-profit sister organisation to Personal Safety Australia, an organisation sharing our strong commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.

Defence for Children International - Australia
The Australian Section of Defence for Children International is the local link in a global chain of children's rights agencies recognised by the United Nations. The Convention on the Rights of the Child focuses on people under 18 years of age. It sets out the principles which guide DCI's actions and campaigns: children's rights to protection, provision, promotion and participation.

Families Australia
The national non-government peak body specifically concerned with family-related issues. Aims to represent the interests of families, young people, and children in Australia.

Melbourne Citymission Reading room
Publications (including research reports, discussion and scoping papers, policy submissions) and presentations from Melbourne Citymission - a non-Government organisation that works with vulnerable individuals, families and communities across Melbourne and Victoria.

Play by the Rules
Play by the Rules provides information and online learning for community sport and recreation on how to: prevent and deal with discrimination, harassment and child abuse; and develop inclusive and welcoming environments for participation. It is is a unique partnership between the Australian Sports Commission, Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, all state and territory sport and recreation and anti-discrimination agencies and the Queensland Commission for Children, Young People and Child Guardian.

Protective Behaviours Consultancy Group of NSW Inc
Protective Behaviours is a living skills program which enables people of all ages to develop strategies to help them deal with all forms of difficult situations. As a safety program it can also be used as a non threatening method of looking at more specific areas such as child abuse and domestic violence. This organisation provides training across NSW and also provides and develops resources for the implementation of the Protective Behaviours program.

Save the Children - Australia
Save the Children aims to ensure all children, regardless of gender, race, country of origin or religious belief have the means of survival, receive protection and have access to nutrition, primary health care and basic education. It works for a world that respects and values each child, that listens to children and learns, and where all children have hope and opportunity.

Action Aid Australia
ActionAid Australia is an anti-poverty agency that works towards eradicating poverty and injustice. ActionAid's mission is to tackle the root causes of poverty to create long term change.
