How to enter

In order to participate in this promotion, respondents are required to complete and return the 2026 Growing Up in Australia online survey. (“The Survey”). All respondents who complete The Survey will be automatically entered into the prize draw.

Conditions of entry

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 18 and over who have completed The Survey (“Eligible Respondents”). Employees of Roy Morgan and their immediate families who participate in The Survey are ineligible to win prizes.
  3. An Eligible Respondent will receive one (1) entry for completing The Survey into the relevant Prize Draw.
  4. Roy Morgan reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with The Survey requirements or these Conditions of Entry, or who is not an Eligible Respondent. Respondents who attempt to obtain more than one entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods, may be disqualified by Roy Morgan and have their entries removed from the Prize Draw at Roy Morgan’s absolute discretion.
  5. All entries must be received by the stated closing date for the relevant Prize Draw of The Survey. No responsibility is accepted by Roy Morgan for late or misdirected entries.
  6. During the promotional period there will be three (3) x Prize Draws. Entries received during each period will go into that Prize Draw. There will be five (5) winners per Prize Draw.
  7. Promotion for the Prize Draws commence in the following order:
    • Prize Draw 1 promotion commences January 20, 2026. Closes 12 midnight AEDT February 1, 2026. Draw will be conducted on February 6, 2026 at 3.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.
    • Prize Draw 2 promotion commences January 20, 2026. Closes 12 midnight AEDT March 30, 2026. Draw will be conducted on April 2, 2026 at 3.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.
    • Prize Draw 3 promotion commences January 20, 2026. Closes 12 midnight AEST June 7, 2026. Draw will be conducted on June 10, 2026 at 3.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.
  8. Prize Draw: the first five (5) valid entries drawn in each Prize Draw will each receive either
    • an e-Gift card to the value of $250.
    • a charity donation to the value of $250. Selected charities will be defined by Australian Institute of Family Studies.
  9. Total prize pool over the three (3) Prize Draws is $3,750. The total prize pool of each of the three (3) Prize Draws is $1,250.
  10. In the event of there being any unclaimed prizes an unclaimed Prize Draw will be conducted on October 9, 2026 at 3.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.
  11. Winners (including the winner of the unclaimed prize draw) will be notified by phone, email or mail and published on the Roy Morgan website within 5 business days after each Prize Draw. Publication will include the winners first name as an initial, last name as an initial.
  12. The prize will be e-mailed to the winners nominated e-mail address. If the prize can not be sent to an e-mail address then a physical gift card will be posted to the winner by Registered Mail. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the prize has been lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.
  13. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promotor, the Promotor may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
  14. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct The Survey. Any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) will be stored separately from The Survey and Prize Draw. If the information requested is not provided, the entry will be invalid and the entrant will not participate in The Survey. However, entrants’ personal information will NOT be disclosed to any party other than Roy Morgan for any future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ initials published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any personal information should be directed to the Roy Morgan Privacy Officer at the address set out below.
  15. To opt out of the Prize Draws, Respondents are to contact Roy Morgan on 1800 005 508.
