This document is a submission to the NDS and NDIS Outcomes Frameworks consultation. Our responses are centred around the view that people with disability are significant participants and contributors to families, and that understanding the family context is important to understanding people with disability and achieving outcomes across the domains identified in the Introductory Paper. Our responses are informed by family-centred research evidence and the expertise of AIFS researchers. We have identified a number of family-centred indicators and measures, based on the evidence, that could be adopted in the Outcomes Frameworks.
