Growing Up in Australia – The Longitudinal Study of Australian Children

A new report from the Growing Up in Australia study shows that most young Australians hope to have children, but their family goals are linked to how much they trust public institutions and their worries about the environment.

To improve children’s mental health, we need to better support their parents through measures that reduce stress and instability according to a new study using Growing Up in Australia data. 

Children who demonstrate pretend play ability as toddlers have fewer emotional and behavioural difficulties at primary school, according to a University of Sydney study using Growing Up in Australia data.
