Method of entry

Entry is open to all participants invited to complete a Wave 5 Ten to Men survey. The number of gift card draws for which each participant is eligible will depend on which Ten to Men survey that participant is selected to complete.

Survey invitation materials will inform each participant of the number of gift card draws for which they are potentially eligible.

Dates and eligibility criteria of gift card draws

The entry period for inclusion in each gift card draw begins on 12 August 2024. The details for the end of each entry period are as below: 

• The first gift card draw is open to all participants who complete their selected survey by 11:59 pm AEST Thursday, 29 August 2024. Three eligible participants will be randomly selected.
• The second gift card draw is open to all participants who complete their selected survey by 11:59 pm AEST Thursday, 19 September 2024. Three eligible participants will be randomly selected.
• The third gift card draw is open to all participants who complete their selected survey by 11:59 pm AEDT Thursday, 10 October 2024. Three eligible participants will be randomly selected.
• The fourth gift card draw is open to all participants who complete their selected survey by 11:59 pm AEDT Sunday, 27 October 2024. Three eligible participants will be randomly selected.
• The fifth gift card draw is open to participants who complete the survey by 11:59 pm AEDT Tuesday, 19 November 2024. Three eligible participants will be randomly selected.

The randomly selected recipient of each gift card draw will be ineligible for inclusion in subsequent draws.

Details of gift cards

The randomly selected participants in the first, second, third, and fifth gift card draws will receive an e-gift card (or, if requested, a selection of hard copy gift cards) valued at AUD $500. The randomly selected participants in the fourth gift card draw will receive an e-gift card (or, if requested, a selection of hard copy gift cards) valued at AUD $1,000. The randomly selected recipient can choose an e-gift card from Boating Camping and Fishing (BCF), Bunnings, Country Road, Dymocks, Foot Locker, Katmandu, Rebel Sport, Supercheap Auto, and The Iconic or choose to have the amount of the e-gift card donated to Beyond Blue, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia or The Fathering Project on their behalf. The recipient may alternatively choose a hard copy gift card instead of an e-gift card. The total national value of the gift card draws is AUD $9,000.

Date, time and place of draw

• The first gift card draw will be conducted at 2:00 PM AEST on 30 August 2024. 
• The second gift card draw will be conducted at 2:00 PM AEST on 20 September 2024. 
• The third gift card draw will be conducted at 2:00 PM AEDT on 11 October 2024. 
• The fourth gift card draw will be conducted at 2:00 PM AEDT on 28 October 2024.
• The fifth gift card draw will be conducted at 2:00 PM AEDT on 20 November 2024.

All draws will be conducted at Level 5, 350 Queen Street, Melbourne Victoria 3000. The randomly selected recipients of the gift card draws will be identified through a random computer-generated draw on two computers located at Level 5, 350 Queen Street, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

Publication of the randomly selected Gift Card Draw recipient names

The recipients will be notified by email and/or telephone within five business days of the draw. If there is no response, there will be attempts to contact the recipient three times over three weeks. The recipient will have until the date of the unclaimed gift card draw, to claim their prize. Following that, if there is no response, the gift card will be deemed unclaimed and will subsequently go into the unclaimed gift card draw. The initials and state of all those selected will be published on https://aifs.gov.au/tentomen/participants/gift-card-draw-information/gift-card-draw-allocations. 

The details of the randomly selected recipients of the first gift card draw will be published on 5 September 2024. The details of the randomly selected recipients of the second gift card draw will be published on 22 September 2024. The details of the randomly selected recipients of the third and fourth gift card draws will be published on 3 November 2024. The details of the randomly selected recipients of the fifth gift card draw will be published on 18 November 2024.

Unclaimed gift card draw

An unclaimed gift card draw will take place at 12:00 pm AEDT on 6 February 2025 at the above address. The randomly selected recipients of the unclaimed gift card draw will be notified by email and/or telephone. Three attempts over 3 weeks will be made to contact recipients. The initials and state of all randomly selected recipients will be published on https://aifs.gov.au/participants/gift-card-draw-information/gift-card-draw-allocations on 13 February 2025.

Privacy

Contact details collected and retained by ‘the Trader’ for the purposes of the gift card draw will not be released or used for any other purpose. Any identifying information will be stored separately to survey responses. By taking part in the gift card draw, participants agree to having their initials and state published on the Ten to Men website if they are drawn as the recipient.
